Tunkhannock Junior Women's Club (TJWC)
Tunkhannock Junior Women's Club (TJWC) is based in Wyoming County but welcomes women from all surrounding areas. Established in 1967, our membership remains strong with a diverse group of women, ages 18 to 80+. Since our founding, we have worked together to make our hometown area a vital and caring place to live, work, and raise families. The combination of our enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication during fundraising and community service events allows us to raise thousands of dollars each year to disburse to local charities, community programs and scholarships.
The work we do provides a community service that is far reaching. And whether we are serving food at the TJWC Fall Fest Craft Show, selling Taste of Tunkhannock Basket Raffle tickets at the Founders' Day booth, helping a child with their craft at Story Hour or enjoying the annual Holiday Cookie Exchange, the social aspects of everything we do enrich our lives because we are spending time with friends.
Share your interests and talents with your community through TJWC! We invite any woman interested in learning more about us to come to one of our meetings or Social events as a guest. We meet on the 4th Tuesday of every month from September thru May (with the exception of December). New or prospective members are always welcome!
